Understanding Invoice Payment Statuses in Lumanu

When you receive an invoice through Lumanu, you can check its payment status directly in your workspace.

Each status shows where the invoice is in the payment process and whether any action is still required from the brand or team issuing the payment.

How to View Your Invoice Status

  1. Log in to your Lumanu Workspace

  2. Navigate to Invoices

  3. The current status will appear on the line of the invoice

Below is an explanation of the most common invoice statuses.


In Review

Status: In Review

This means the invoice has been created and submitted for approval, but it has not yet been approved or paid by the brand or agency issuing the payment.

At this stage:

  • The team is reviewing the invoice internally

  • The invoice still needs to be approved

  • Payment has not yet been initiated

Once the invoice is approved and paid, the status will update and your funds will move to your Lumanu balance.


Approved (Awaiting Payment)

Status: Approved

This means the invoice has been approved by the team, but payment has not yet been completed.

At this stage:

  • The invoice has passed the approval process

  • The team still needs to complete the payment

  • Funds are not yet available in your Lumanu balance

Once the payment is processed, the invoice status will change to Paid.


Approved / Processing

Status: Approved or Processing

Sometimes an invoice may show as Approved or Processing while the payment is being finalized.

This means:

  • The invoice has already been approved

  • The team has initiated the payment

  • Lumanu is waiting for the payment to finalize

Once the payment finishes processing, the invoice status will update to Paid.


Paid

Status: Paid

This means the payment has been successfully processed.

At this stage:

  • You will receive an email notification

  • The funds will appear in your Lumanu balance

  • You can withdraw or transfer the funds to your connected account


When Will I Receive My Payment?

You will be able to access your funds once the invoice status changes to “Paid.”

At that point:

  • The funds will be available in your Lumanu balance

  • You can transfer or withdraw the funds to your connected account


Why Haven’t I Been Paid Yet?

If you do not see an invoice in your Lumanu Workspace or need an update on when a payment will be issued, we recommend reaching out directly to the brand or agency issuing the payment for the most accurate timeline.

To clarify:

  • Lumanu acts as the payment processor

  • The brand or agency is the payment issuer

  • Payment terms and timing (such as Net terms) are determined by the brand or agency

Because of this, the brand issuing the payment will be able to provide the most accurate estimated payment timeline.
