Why Is My W-9 Verification Pending?
If your W-9 status shows as “Pending”, it means we were unable to verify the tax information submitted in your Lumanu profile.
To complete verification, you may need to submit a signed W-9 and supporting documentation for review by our Verification Team.
How to Submit Your W-9
To complete your verification, please send us a completed W-9 form.
Steps:
Download and complete a fillable W-9 form
Save the completed form as a PDF
Email the document to vendors@lumanu.com
Include your Lumanu account email in the message so we can locate your profile
Our team will review your submission and update your verification status.
Additional Documents Required for EIN Submissions
If you completed your W-9 using an Employer Identification Number (EIN), please also include documentation verifying your business.
Examples of acceptable documents include:
Business formation documents
Articles of Organization
Certificate of Formation
Articles of Incorporation
Ownership documentation
A document showing you as the owner or member of the business
EIN confirmation
IRS EIN Assignment Letter (CP 575 or similar) showing you as the authorized person for the business
These documents help our Verification Team confirm the business ownership associated with the EIN.
If You Are Submitting a W-9 With a SSN
If you are completing the W-9 using a Social Security Number (SSN), additional business documents are not required.
What Happens After I Send My Documents?
After we receive your documents:
Our Verification Team will review your submission
If everything is confirmed, your W-9 status will be approved
If additional information is needed, our team will reach out
