How to create a Project Estimate
What’s a Project Estimate and when should I use it?
Project estimates are an essential planning tool that help companies evaluate the anticipated costs of a specific marketing initiative before proceeding. By calculating a project estimate, teams can assess if the projected budget aligns with company goals and resource availability.
Estimates also assist in securing necessary internal approvals, such as generating a purchase order (PO) number, and provide finance teams with a clear financial forecast for the project. This process supports decision-making around resource allocation, enabling teams to allocate budget effectively, secure funding, and outline financial expectations to stakeholders, ultimately ensuring the project can be executed successfully within budget.
