How to Prefund via A Project

Prefunding a project in Lumanu ensures you have the necessary funds readily available for quick and seamless vendor payments. By allocating money in advance, you can avoid delays and maintain smooth project execution without waiting for funds.

How to Prefund a Project from a General Balance:

  1. Create a Project: Start by creating a new Project in the Projects tab

    1. Refer to this article for 'How to Create a Project'

  2. Transfer Funds: In the Finances tab, click the 3 dots in the top right corner of the screen and choose "Transfer Funds" to allocate the necessary amount of money to your Project.

  3. Track Balance: You can track your available and remaining balance in the project dashboard to ensure you have enough for upcoming payments.

How to Prefund a Project Using a Project-Specific Funding Invoice:

  1. Create a Project: Start by creating a new Project in the Projects tab

  2. Create a Project Specific Funding Invoice: Click into the Project you wish to fund, in the top right hand corner of the app click 'Manage Funds' and then select 'Request Funds.

    1. Create a funding invoice specific to this Project filling out the following information:

3. Once the funds are received and the deposit has been applied to the funding invoice in the Finances tab, your Project will be funded and you will be all set to make payments.
